Creative Projects
This page showcases both my independent projects, in addition to my mechanical engineering projects to date. Here, I present a collection of hands-on endeavors that intertwine artistry, craftsmanship, and mechanical engineering elements. These projects diverge from conventional engineering, offering a fusion of creativity and functionality. Engaging in these ventures grants me a different perspective on spatial relationships, structural form, and innovative design, distinct from the traditional realms of either engineering or my main area of focus, architecture. Each project page below reflects my exploration into the fusion of arts, crafts, and mechanical elements, showcasing how these interdisciplinary pursuits enrich and influence my approach to design and spatial aesthetics. Explore these creations to witness the intersection of artistry and mechanical elements that redefine my outlook on design concepts.

I used a variety of hardwood scraps to create this end-grain hardwood cutting board. The process began with cutting each scrap into strips. I then glued these strips into groups of three. Next, after waiting a day for the glue to cure, I cut these strips into 2.5 inch cubes, engraved a personal detail on one of the cubes, built a setup to secure my board once I applied the glue, applied the glue, and then sanded!
