In this project, I mapped and analyzed the motion of a backwalkover, noting key aspects of the movement and the way in which the body shaped itself throught the motion.

I then used this mapping to create a physical model using thread and clear acrylic to model the movement of my limbs in 3D space throughout this motion. The pink string represents my upper body's angle and direction and the green represents my lower body's angle and direction.

This process served as inspiration for the subsequent city in motion project.
